MC Volume levelling question

Firstly does volume levelling modify files so that they will be levelled in all programs?

Secondly, how do u volume level? i can only find a replay gain option. Can some plz explain this to me

it doesnt work with all programs (think it works with ipod though). For other media players im not sure - depends on how they read the tag info.

to get it to work go to tools>advanced>analyse audio

you can also make a smartlist that shows you which files still need the analysis (from memory) F9 (creates a new smartlist)>right click to choose from one of the default types> choose "tools - needs audio analysis"

queue a bunch of files then let it go. once they are done make sure you check the box that activates the replay gain, and thats it.
