Theatre View and Non Default Tree setup
« on: April 14, 2004, 05:16:38 am »

hi,
i have customised my tree to the way i like it and removed the main groupings of audio, video and images and instead put a lot more of my commonly used views as top level items. today i tried theatre view and it only lists 'images, playlists, cd & dvd'.
it will not list any of my other views that i have set up for audio files or photos.

if we wish to use theatre view are we restricted in how we customise the tree and forced to use these top level groupings?

in theatre view where it says 'items to show' and then lists two items that do not exist (audio and images) - could it not list our own items instead and just let us chose for ourselves what views we want shown?

thanks

Yes.  Media Modes also require those top level groups.

Please don't make them uneditable!
