Windows Behavior when trying to Tile Windows
« on: April 18, 2004, 03:34:40 pm »

First, let me say I made the jump from Jukebox to Media Center last night and I am mighty impressed.

I have something quirky happening.

I'm running Windows XP, and I'm trying to tile MC next to a web browser. (Tile Windows Vertically). I've never had an issue with this before and I have an extra wide screen laptop (1920x1200 pixels) on my Dell.

Here's the weird thing: When I go to tile MC with something, the MC window actually gets larger than the screen (about 2x), yet is behind the Internet Explorer. Reinstalling has not helped.

Thanks in advance for any suggestions you might have.

As bizarre as it came, it has left. I had tried to manually resize the window and was only able to decrease the width, but not the height. And then when it was closed I accidentally double-clicked on a small image file and MC opened at a size smaller than the blown up window size. Guess if anyone else has this happen, it's worth a shot.
