Track names have been changed
« on: May 20, 2004, 07:31:33 am »

I was puzzled when I put on my Rock playlist and it kept coming up with Death Metal tracks. I could have sworn I'd sorted all my genres out. Anyway, I decided I was going mad and changed them all back.

Now, I don't think I'm mad anymore as I have found two tracks that are definately named something completely different from what was originally entered.

Is there some part of the program that does this sort of thing on its own and if so, how can I switch if off?

Or, am I really going mad?

Thanks.

To whoever changed the subject of this post, don't you think you could have answered it as well?

I changed the subject so it described the problem.

I don't know the answer.  Operator error?

So there's no setting that looks for and updates tags and this has never happened to anyone else?

How do you explain 'Days' by the Kinks becoming 'Young and Innocent Days' and 'Run, Run, Rudolph' by Foghat becoming something else with 'Run' in the title?

If, by operator error, you're suggesting I did it myself, that's not a possibility. I've only ever had one Foghat song in my library and up until yesterday, it was called 'Run, Run, Rudolph'.

Something in the program's doing it and I don't know what.
