Does anyone know where I can obtain software to convert my Windows Media Format files to MP3?

I've got quite a few, so a progam that can go through a batch would be very useful.

Needless to say that Microsoft provide a converter the other way only!!

Actually...WMF stand for Windows MetaFile...you mean WMA (Windows Media Audio, I believe). MJ will do the conversion depending on what version of WMP (v9's are no-no's) they were made with. V7.1 and lower (AFAIK) are OK. WMA files are somewhat weak in quality to begin with (partly because of the low bitrate), and transcoding between formats (lossy ones, that is) isn't considered tubular. So your MP3's may sound noticeably worse than the original WMP's. You ought to re-rip and encode straight to MP3, if possible.

But....It's easy...
Crank up MJ
Find and highlight your WMA's
Go to Tools>Convert Format
Set up the encoder (I would use MP3 Encoder VBR at Normal quality)
Hit OK and your set.

The WMA(sic) files I have already ripped are via Windows Media v9.0!

Looks like i'm gonna spend some time re-rippin'
