Please explain (or point me to) the compatibility info for 10 and 11.  Not sure how to run 11  with 10.156?  I just need instructions that allow me to run both together.  I am very happy with 10 and want to get an early look at 11, but want to continue using 10 as I use the nomad zen plug-in which is probably not supported yet by 11......

Thanks for a great job!!!!!!

Yeah, what do you mean by improved?  I thought side-by-side installations weren't supported yet? *hopeful look*

We're at the point where most things should work if you do side-by-side installs using the latest builds.

There will be some speed bumps, so only try side-by-side installs if you won't mind problems.  Backup your library before trying anything.

An FYI...  I am able to reproduce this all the time...

When I play a WMV music video after a few seconds (between 10 and 20) the sound starts chopping up BAD and it is unlistenable.  If I play through WMP I don't have a problem.  I then changed the video playback engine to WMP (through MC) and it now works fine.  So it appears that there is a problem with the MC WMV playback engine sometimes.  Unfortunately, I don't have very many WMV files to test this with, just three and it happens with all three.

I've discovered that Media Server won't run (or more accurately will run and terminate immediately) if a couple of RUNDLL32.EXE processes are running at the same time. Any idea why this might be?

I think there is a problem with the new version(10.157):
while trying to record sound from the mic, the program hangs  and not responding.
(I installed 10.149 and it works fine)

Problem: If a library location is referenced in the Library Manager using a network UNC (e.g. \\LEORA\MC Libary), rather than a drive letter (e.g. F:\MC Library) then changes to the library do not get saved upon exiting from MC.

Note: this does NOT involve Media Server at all (where I understand such behavior is intended).

I know this used to work in prior builds, e.g. 10.146, which is what I was using before upgrading to 10.157.

I also know that I am not the only one that cares about this sort of behavior. Many of us run MC on multiple PCs and access a shared library. So, please fix! Thanks!

"This version of Media Center must be activated by running it once with at least Power User Priviledges."

I am keep getting this message every time I start MC10.0.157.

The mcmimeman.exe component is actually registered under HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\CLSID\{C83171F2-7FE3-4C83-87A5-183013B089FE}\LocalServer32. I can also run /rgister and /unregister command directly without any errors (I am logged as administrator).

So what is going wrong here?

Hi.

Got a problem if I select many mp3 files to burn.  If I select for example 100 tiltles, when I tried to burn, it hangs.  I would like it be accepted so that I can burn them into multiple audio CDs.
