My Media center seems to have developed a few issues with some of my MPC files recently.
The older ones I have seem to be okay, but some I acquired recently just don't want to play ball.

Thinking that MC uses Winamp, I downloaded the latest Musepack codec, which works fine - in winamp anyway.

I've tried adding the new MPC codec to MC using the plugin manager which has allowed me to play the new files but also made MC very unstable. In addition, I cannot fast forward or move inside tracks as usual. Tag information appears unreadable, and attempts to convert the files to another format incurs an immediate crash...

Any suggestions??
