I have assigned all my album art jpegs to my music folders on my HD but when I import albums MC does not automatically import these jpegs. Does anyone know if you have to save the jpegs in a specific format or give them a specific name that MC will automaticlly import it together with the MP3's?

they need to be the same name as the Artist & Album Name

then Use Get "Images From Internet"
Select The Combo Box "OffLine - Use Already Downloaded Cover Art"

Hi!
Have tried as you say but nothing has changed. I renamed the jpeg exactly as artist and album name etc. MC does not import it and even when I use the other suggestion no album artwork is shown. Any other ideas?

make sure the path is correct to the cover art folder

if it is it should work, if it does not then the file name is not the same.

i think this includes case.

if there is anything in the "Image" field MC may not find new info. i think there was and may still be if there was info in the "image" field, that mc would not use the new data.

i don't think that was ever fixed, but am not sure

I have made sure that the path is correct. The image file's name is also identical with artis and album (even case sensitive). I have imported this album again and the problem still persists. The image field under 'tag info' is blank.......

can you help?

Titanic, just a thought, did you change the path in the tools>options>file location> cover art location? Sometimes the little things get overlooked.    Bet

well it worked for me, i just tried it.

all my files are located on a server and I think that MC does not see the latest version of my files. I just imported some files into MC on which I spent hours yesterday updating, renaming etc. I cleared my library and imported from scratch, but all the changes I applied to my files on the server were not considered by MC, now I sit with mostly all outdated files and have to do them again via tagging in MC which is a bit of a pain.

Just a simple question in case I misunderstood the original question. You do have just ONE cover art folder with the images defined like KingSparta said, right? That should work fine in that case.

no that don't work but you may wish to rename it to folder.jpg when you have it located in a album folder since that is the standard.
