hello,

the volume dial on my logitech cordless keyboard used to control the volume for tracks being played in MC, but since i have been using an external sound card (m-audio firewire 410) it no longer works. does anyone know how to configure this so that it will work again?

thanks,

nick.

There was another post here recently from (Sorry Can't Remember who) uninstalled the ITouch software, and all of the Buttons for the media worked with MC...

Might be worth a shot..

I have looked at the thread you mention, but I don't have the itouch software installed.  The play/pause, forward, back, and stop buttons work fine in media centre, Windows media player, and winamp.  It is just the volume dial and the mute button that don't work in any of these players.

I am sure that this has something to do with the external soundcard that I'm now using, but don't know how to get this soundcard to work with the volume and mute controls on the keyboard.
