Drag-and-drop confirmation
« on: October 01, 2004, 03:59:23 pm »

Since - I think - 11.0.083 there is a confirmation whenever I drag something (to the player or to the tree).
It may be good for certain things that I don't know of (yes... I'm still not an advanced user). But personally I don't like it!
>>> Can it be turned off? I didn't find the option to do it (yet).

TIA....

It only shows a menu if there are multiple possible actions.

If there are places where you think it shouldn't be showing more than one option, please let us know.  The system is pretty new and still has some kinks.

(p.s. dropping on a handheld will only have one action, thus no menu, in the next build)

Playlists too, I hope?

Thanks for your reaction, Matt.
I'll probably get used to the pop-up window when dragging.

I may sound negative, but I truly want to say that you're still doing a great job with every new version! The Library browser also needs some "getting used to", but it has great potential....

I don't like that it always pops up and asks when I drag something to a new spot in Playing Now. I think the default action should be to move it, and if you do a right-button drag, then it should pop up the menu for move or copy. This is more consistent with the way Windows works as well.

Playing now too?   I really haven't been paying attention lately.

I find no problem with the cute little popup that asks if I want to Move or Copy . . . I find it convenient.

can't stand it. have to agree with Doof on this one. default move, right click menu, ctrl copy. very simple stuff.
