Artist info don't match ID tags

Why is it that in my file ID tags it shows the proper Artist info, but in Media Jukebox picks up the name wrong and many times it defaults bands to the name of the Beatles?  This is wierd and seems to keep happening even after I clean it up. ?

There are two types of tags.  ID3v1 and ID3v2.  Also MJ can fill tags from the directory\filename.

Check how you have your mp3 input plug-in set.  MJ/settings/plug-in manager/input plugins/MP3/configure.

Also, in MJ file properties, you can use the tools to make changes in either direction (filename<-->properties).
