Controling Visualizations with a Remote Control
« on: June 26, 2004, 03:50:42 pm »

I want to be able to change visualizations using a Remote Control for display on my TV.

According to the Windows Messaging docs in the devzone there aren't any control messages for the visualizations, all you can do is to go to full screen.  I'm using Girder.

Now G-Force and Whitecap are available, I want to be able to choose them

Has anybody got this working?
Have I missed something obvious?

You can already... In Theatre view, just select Display option with your remote.  It's a bit cumbersome, and I do agree that a Remote Control command would be great as often I want to scroll through different visualisations

I'm trying to get Girder to send the letter "T" keystroke to G-Force so I can see the track info by pressing a button on my remote when MC is running GForce full screen.

I guess this is hard??

Does MC11 work differently w/r/t display pluggins?

Thanks!
