Hello,

with Version 11.0.174 some bug appeared with importing the lib.
Some Datafields like Artistname etc. are left blank..after using
"update lib (from tags)" they are there again...when i change some view items they are gone again..i think something is wrong?!

Using WinXP+SP2, Athlonsys,1024Ram.Gfore4 (MC is sorting about 40.000 files)

There are some Questions to ask if this wishes have any priority for building the new 11 release,:

1. It's wondeful to have the "Zone" feature in mc...is it very difficult to support only a button to klick , for sending a song to another zone into the play now list (Would be the easyest way to support a preview function with headphone)

2. The clean up and sorting funktions have special features about "articles" eg. The, a ....would be wonderful to support also other language articles ...for example "Die, Der ,Das" in german language..maybe it's possible to have a button in mc ...to fill a list of words and signs and how to behave with them.

3.  Sometimes I have wrong information in one field, to divide them into the correct seperate fields I used to rename the file from this field and than update the lib and renaming backwards to have a breakpoint like "-" for bringing the right info into the right fields.

Example:
     Filename:     kiss- nomea.mp3

     Fields:         Name: Kiss_I was made for loving....
                        Artist: "nothing"

It would be so wonderfull to have a feature entering the "Namefield"and seperate it by entering "[Artist]_[Name]".
in a mask to have it filled in correct.

4. Is it possible to have this search options:

"albums with more than 5 files"
or
"show duplicates with 90% same -letters- "
to show also dups like 'nsyc with `nsync
or
kiss(live) with kiss[live]

you can customize each view, how you want it and what fields to show

go to media library, right click, "Customize Current View"

set up the view how you want it, then click on "save view"

there is an option for "all locations"

so playing now will have the same look as media library etc..

sorry I know that feature ...it is one of the essantials i'm working with, but how to handle one of my points descibed above with this tip (tripple questionmark)
