Monkey's Audio Plug-in
« on: January 01, 2005, 11:18:38 pm »

I have Monkey's Audio 3.97 as well as MJ 8.0. When ripping a CD in mj8, I try to rip & encode simultaneously. I get the error message "Cannot create plug-in for ape - error 80040154". What to do?

If you want to use versions of Monkey's Audio newer than the one that comes with MJ, you may need to switch to JRiver Media Center.

Thanks Jim, but no version of Monkeys Audio came with MJ8. I researched on the forum and found that MJ8 supports monkeys audio 3.97 but not 3.99. So I am using 3.97 and everything seems to work ok except that one problem I'm having. If I want to rip and convert from a CD, I have to do it in 2 or 3 steps.
