Save This View - For all locations and sub-locations??
« on: January 19, 2005, 08:51:34 pm »

What does this mean?  I don't see where these choices apply.  What is considered a 'location' vs a 'sub-location'

Thanks

Think of the tree view.   When you select one branch, then you are looking at that one view, right?  Well, all children of that branch are "sub-locations."

For example, assume you are in "All Media" mode.  If you then select the "Audio" branch and customize that view, then that and all sub-views will look the same assuming you chose that option.  The other "main" branches, though, like Images, Video, Documents, etc., will still have independent view schemes. :)

So it can't be used in the Media Library?  I have my first pane list my playlistst and then I am able to filter using the ohter panes from there.  The problem is that I have a playlist tiltled favorite albums and when selected, shows up like every other playlist and I wnat it to show up as album thumbnails.  So there is no way of changing settings to get that one playlist to show up that way and the others like normal?
