Cover art mismatch
« on: January 29, 2005, 09:51:19 pm »

I know this has been addressed a few times in recent builds but I still find myself needing to do an "erase thumbnails" to correct mismatched cover art on a regular basis. It happens when I import playlists into my library but I'm not sure - I havn't found any real pattern.

Thanks.

Corrupt database?  Try clearing your library and re-importing.  You can also force thumbnail building under Options/View.

You can also force thumbnail building under Options/View.

Where is this option? Do you mean "Build missing thumbnails"?  This takes forever and I've tried this but it doesn't fix my issue. I've re-created my library twice.

Try searching here to learn more about cover art and how it is found and displayed.  There are a lot of possibilities.

any jpg files in the album folder
folder.jpg
internally stored files in the tag for some codecs
jpg files with same name in the cover art directory
