Problems recognising a Pocket PC
« on: March 13, 2005, 11:35:43 am »

So what am I doing wrong.

MC 11 doesn't recognise my Axim PDA. Under XP explorer it's listed under mobile devices and I can drop media files onto the drives through exployer, but I can't see it listed on within MC. I've downloaded the PDA plugin but still no joy.  I can't the plugin lited anywhere either.

Any ideas ?

You'll probably be told to post this in the Portable Forum.

I couldn't get mine to work either, my discussion is in this thread.

That was a while ago I haven't been keeping up with any new developments, just using Windows to do everything for now.

It's broken in the current build, but we hope it will be fixed in tonight's build.

It's discussed in this thread:

Actally It suddenly started to work, though MC thought there was 6 storage devices on the Axim. I've just got a new XDA iis, and MC recognised it straight away.

I have a another question about syncing via wifi but I'll post it as a new topic

MC will recognize every storage area on your PDA as a separate "device" -- so you have main memory, perhaps a secondary storage memory on the PDA, then maybe a CF card and an SD card -- those would all be seen as separate devices in MC.
