MC download speed like dialup

Hi all
I 've just joined the MC11 gang upgraded from MC10. I am downloading MC 11 V251, It's coming down at about 4 KB per sec. I am on a 1 meg cable modem. It's like dial up speed. I am in Argentina but everthing else goes grand.
Any ideas??

the server may be busy, i am getting 66kbps on a 6mb cable modem (download)

normaly I get over 100KBPS when downloading from J river.

I can believe that though I have had it everytime I downloaded a new version even if I didn't install it. The last download took over 90 minutes for a 15 meg thats alot of time. Anyway it not really that important as it arrives eventually. Thanks for your response.
