Can't add Radio station to www.jrmediacenter.com
« on: May 05, 2005, 01:44:24 pm »

Hi,

Very strange, my Login Name had dissappeard, had to reregister. Well ok, I'm in.

I'm trying to add the Dutch Radio station Radio2 to the DB at www.jrmediacenter.com (http://www.jrmediacenter.com/cgi-bin/stations/add.pl) but get an error message on registering.

Paul.

PS: Radio2 is already registered but this version is a 65 kB stream, the one registered is a 20 kB stream.

Just found out, it does add the link. Possibly the reply after adding is faulty. After clicking the link I get an error that it could not connect. Did something wrong I guess.

No, I'm totally confused. The entry is not mine at all. Some 'Radio 2' station is added for Danmark. Here's the info for my station.

Station: Radio2
Genre: POP/ROCK
Country: Netherlands
State: UT
City: Hilversum
Stream URL: http://www.omroep.nl/radio2/live64.asx
Web URL: http://www.radio2.nl
Description: Je hoort nog 'ns wat
Format: Windows Media Audio

I have no idea on a server problem, but they may be a bit busy with the release of MC 11 right now.

I am curious though where the radio stations are located on the site?
Did you try a direct add (via browser) or from within MC?

And if within MC, what version and build?

Tried both. In MC (10.0.173), IE6 and Firefox. All gave the same error!

That's OK I guess since the problem also occurs in IE6 and Firefox, isn''t it.
