In "Tools-Options", selecting "Playback" shows nothing.

If you leave "Playback" selected, get out of "Options" and back into it, you can see the configuration options for "Playback". But if you select any other menu item such as "Encoding" or others and then go back to "Playback", then nothing is displayed.

Try switching skins.  Let us know if it helps. (this was reported with PixOS only, but we can't reproduce)

i can't reproduce this either. with PixOS or any other skin.

Problem occurs only with PixOS skin, and I confirmed that it still exists on my system with 285.

Yes, I was using PixOS. Changing to Aruba brought the behavior of the menu back to normal.

Can you try swapping the main.xml files between Aruba and PixOS and see if the problem follows the file.

You'll have to change this line:


<SKIN Name="PixOS" Author="Pixtudio" EMail="info@pixtudio.com" WebSite="http://www.pixtudio.com" About="Copyright Pixtudio. Port of PixOS Suite from Pixtudio.com for Media JukeBox" />

to something like:

<SKIN Name="X_PixOS" Author="Pixtudio" EMail="info@pixtudio.com" WebSite="http://www.pixtudio.com" About="Copyright Pixtudio. Port of PixOS Suite from Pixtudio.com for Media JukeBox" />

and move the file to the Aruba directory.

If the problem does follow the file, try swapping other parts of the file to see if you can find a section that is a problem.

My guess is that there may be a typo in the file, but we can't see it.

I just tried. I modified the PixOS main.xml and saved it in the Aruba folder. The problem does not follow. I can't reproduce using Aruba. It still there using PixOS.

Would it help you if I activated Debug Logging?

I don't think logging will help.  Can you try the reverse test?  The Aruba skin used with the PixOS files.

No problem. I just did and the result is the same using the PixOS skin with the Aruba main.xml (modified with "X_Aruba"). The ""display" option is still empty.

We can now reproduce it if we remove some files from the PixOS directory, so it may be an incomplete skin on your PC.  Can you count the files?  Or copy and paste a directory listing here?

There is an extra file here: pixos.txt is just the file I created when I did a dir > pixos.txt to get the listing.
