Opening .asx Stream

I'm encountering a strange issue in MC 11 (11.0.309) when I open a .asx (Windows Media Internet Stream) from a URL.

Issue is that the volume slider is disappearing, and the stream is playing at what seems maximum volume. There seems to be no way to turn the volume down.   ?

This issue is not present for MP3 streams.

WARNING: opening this link will start with very loud audio annoucing the stream is "Sydney's GAY readio service" - this may not be to everyone's liking...  ;D

I notice that the "FileType" attribute of the stream is being determined as .wmv (it's an audio only stream - so should probably be .wma)

I can definitely play the stream - I just can't turn it down...

Are you getting the same issue with the volume control disappearing??

(I'm not sure how I upload a screen shot to the forum - or I'd show you what I'm seeing)
