M4A Import Fails
« on: July 11, 2005, 09:43:53 am »

I am using MC11.0.305 and when I try to import some newly encoded M4A files, it quickly scans the directories and then starts adding files, and quickly pops up a dialog with no text in it just a red circle with a white "X" in it and the dialog title says "Playb..." when I hit the ok button, MC11 just sits there and I can work with it, but the import does not continue.

In fact, I have to kill "Media Center.exe" from task manager to get out of the app.   It is not consistent at which point the program pops up the dialog, sometimes on file 1192 some times on 592, etc...  No seeming pattern.

Files were encoded by dbPowerAmp using Nero.  The files that were imported before the freezing play fine through MC11.

Any ideas?

Ok.  I tracked down a file that may be the problem.  I just don't know why it appeared as different points in teh import process.
