OT: Windows Picture and Fax Viewer steals QT files

This is a bit off topic, but I thought there are probably people here who have the same problem I do.

Whenever I click on a Quicktime movie (*mov), Windows XP's Picture and Fax Viewer comes up---even though I have QT set to be the default program to open .Mov files! This is highly annoying, especially since Picture and Fax viewer can't handle *.mov files.

Does anyone know how to stop this behaviour short of un-installing the picture and fax viewer?
