I recently downloaded media center 11 for trial. its clarity/low frequency reproduction is superb! But it does not play .wma files. It does not encode .wma files to mp3. all it says is download plugin. i have no internet connection in my room. MC11 does not (including skins, dsp) support downloading plugins separately in a system and installing it in my room system where mc11 is installed! kindly suggest an alternative (i can't go for an internet connection just for this alone as i am able to access in my office,which is sufficient!)

It does play all WMA files, but it won't play files that have DRM applied unless the rights belong to you.  It also won't convert these protected files.  Maybe that's the problem.
