We're at the point now where we can transfer significant parts of our libraries to a portable device.  Does this mean we need to start thinking of additional functionality to support the usability?

For example, and maybe this is yet another feature of MJ8 that I've not discovered, I'd like to be able to monitor what's I have moved to my MP3 player in the past, like a move history, I'd also like to be able to batch select only albums that I have 6 or more tracks of.  Maybe mark CD's that I want transferred the next time I'm sync'ing up my iPod.

Even if MJ has these features arere there other items along these lines that folks are looking for with huge data storage just warming up.

Just a thought.

Suggestions are always welcome. We have to pick our battles a little and right now the iPod is a big battle. Let us get that going and then revisit the other issues.

Understood and no problem Steve.  I wanted to get folks minds thinking about how the world changes as portable MP3 players (not just the iPod) get larger and managing the data increases in importance.

Do not have an iPod,but look like it is a field where you can beat concurence with ideas\requests like the timB ones
