where does MC stores video preview?
« on: February 20, 2006, 05:46:33 pm »

hello

i recently formated my computer , and i had a lot of videos disks in my library.
i did back up my library , but , my videos picture preview did not store.
where can i find those pictures? so i could keep them for my next format.
these pictures were imported by MC , and the full videos are stored in CD's, so manage my videos with MC.
Which is the most powerful porgram to do so....

Thanks  ;)

Thumbnails are built on-demand.  MC will need the underlying movie to build a thumbnail from it.

You may have better luck assigning an external image to each movie that you keep in a certain folder.  This way, MC can build a thumbnail even if the movies are on CDs in your drawer.

are you mean , to add an image to each movie? in the CD next to the move file?
there must be a better way.
i tried to see which file is modifed when i import new movie CD , couldn't find it.
but i notice that the thumbnails are still there , even if the CD is far a way from the computer.

thanks again
