OT - bier
« on: September 21, 2002, 12:56:09 am »

Lots of changes tonight.  Spaten Oktoberfest empty, Hofbrauhaus Oktoberfest on tap.  Erdinger Weissbier out, Franziskaner on tap, Konig Ludwig next.  New Glarus Belgian Red out, Raspberry Tart on.  Angelic Bitter out, Scotch Ale on, Nut Brown Ale next.

Very busy festival weekend.  Have to spend many hours at the brewpub.  Oh, well, somebody's gotta do it...

You poor soul. It must be pure drudgery to hang out at an establishment like that. I mean, who in their right mind would want to do that? Hmmmmm.....come to think of it, I guess I know a few.

wash your shot glasses for next weekend, I want one of everything please (but due to transportation, a half shot of each should be plenty).

It looks like 1 or 2 pm saturday afternoon, you going to be around then? (I'll still be there if not).

Ah, a wonderful surprise--when the first 30 liter keg of Franziskaner Weiss ran out, we found that the second one was their Dunkel Weiss... mmm mmm gut!  We have LOTS of empty kegs to roll out after the festival weekend.  Capital 1900 Lager is on.  And mixing the Raspberry Tart with the Oatmeal Stout was very popular this weekend--tastes like raspberry chocolate cheesecake.  (I stuck with Dunkel Weiss, IPA and Scotch Ale).

John, Sat 9/28 sounds good, but would 2:00 pm be OK?  That's when we open.  Anybody else near Milwaukee?
