why is for J River not possible to extract the names of the tv channels as the proprietary tv programs such as Pinnacle TV can do?

I habe been naming my TV channels dozens of times so far! It's a time consuming, repetitive, boring  job!

And in an  overview they display a picture of every channel like MC11.1 does with audio, images ansd video!

For Analog TV this is not possible unless EPG is used. We currently do not support EPG.

This probably is device dependent.
