Gen 5 iPod, lyrics, and MC11
« on: October 30, 2005, 12:12:20 pm »

I've seen posts indicating MC11 will support cover art which I look forward to but have not seen any mention of support for lyrics display on the newer iPods.  Thanks mostly to KingSparta I have lyrics on a great number of songs and would love to be able to display them on my iPod.  Any word on this?

Thanks,

Kevin

That's too bad... I'm literally on the fence of buying media center, after looking at many many products. and I too am in the process of putting lyrics on most of the tracks.

It should not be too difficult to transfer Lyric support to the ipod no?

At least you don't destroy that... I tested and the files were intact on the pc when i copied them back.

Also, I noticed that I cannot display album art, or lyrics, or even see tag info, when I play mp3s directly from the ipod.

Anyway, Do you have a time frame when you'll support Lyrics and "Audibook Bookmarks" until then I would have to use BOth media center for mp3's etc... but itunes for actual syncing...

In fact is there a list of Ipod features that are\are not supported?

thanks

Uhm... the funny part, is that at least I can drag a folder from media center right into the Ipod in Itunes, and sync that way in order to make the lyrics show up...
