As new songs are imported, the "recently imported" playlist appears.
There is a customize current view option here.
I have a couple of fields that I require to be filled in that are not in the default fields chosen, so I add them via the customize current view.
They stay as long as MC is open, but once I restart MC, those settings disappear.
Can this setting be retained, please?

this involves my project, so, after a quick test, I have a work-around for you

go tools>options>general>advanced and take the tick out of "clear recently imported on exit"

now the customisations will stick. every so often, remove the tracks from the list by hand. (ctrl+a > [delete])
