I always find myself using the same half dozen of commands in Media Center, especially when tagging or organizing tracks. Until a way to implement quick access to function is found (both by icons and configurable hot-keys) I use the capability of MC to remember the last used commands. To make the MRU (Most Recently Used) list longer, I configure MC in Tools > Options > Tree & View > Advanced > Right click recent commands count, setting it to a value higher than 1.

I think that the context menu MRU could be improved in two ways:

1) In addition to the standard MRU list, a section of the context menu could be entirely configurable, dedicated to frequently used commands. The user could drag the commands he uses most in that section (like in the Start Menu in Windows XP).
2) The standard MRU list could be preserved between shutdown/startup of MC, and the commands used more frequently could “climb the chart” (again, like in the Start Menu in Windows XP).

yup, I certainly agree with the suggestion of making the MRU survive restarts. I normally leave MC running for weeks on end, and get used to it remembering what I do, and then find it annoying when I've had to restart the PC for some reason and it no longer rememebers...
