Skipping non audio files when analyzing
« on: August 19, 2006, 04:23:59 pm »

Could you folks there at J River modify the Analyze Audio function so it automatically skips all non-audio files?

When I manually import audio files, (albums with cover art), and the "Recently Imported" list comes up both the audio files and the cover art are in the list, (eventhough the "Audio" mode had been selected).

With, say, 10 albums in the list, I would select all and then have to go back and de-select all the image files before I can go on and analyze. pitb. Analyze Audio doesn't even show up in the Library Tools menu if there is anything but audio files in the list to be analyzed.

Could you modify Analyze Audio to skip non-audio files in a list or fix "Recently Imported" to only show audio files when the "Audio" mode  is selcted or both?
