Registration Problem
« on: October 13, 2006, 06:10:26 am »

I've been kinda busy so I hadn't had much of a chance to check out MC12.

I start it up and it tells me that my 30 day trial period has expired and I have three choices:

Purchase - If I click this nothing happens

Restore - If I try the via internet option nothing happens, the "from file" seems to bring up a dialog but I'm not sure how to get my mjr file.

Cancel - Unfortunately this does work. :)

I'm 90% sure I have upgraded to 12, I certainly tried to a few weeks ago.

Help!

Thanks!

Hi Tim,

For some reason, Internet Explorer is not starting up when you click the button. Have you changed your default browser or something?

I'm must have missed this, I thought IE was no longer required for MC?

I should change my default browser back to IE, register and then switch back to Firefox?  :o

I just meant that for some reason MC is not able to start your web browser with the URL. Switching to IE and back may fix that...

Problem is solved however I'm not sure which thing did it.  I switched browsers, then I tried to load the MC11 .mjr file into MC12 which it rejected and pointed me to the MC12 Registration page.

Sorry if this isn't helpful. :)
