Also, is there is an easy way to remove all duplicate songs from the library?
You may use the smartlist wich can be found here:
Playlists -> Smartlists -> Audio -- Task -- possible duplicates - filename
or make smartlist/do a search to find just files you mentioned here:

by creating a new library with syntax:
~dup=[filename (name)]
It helps to find the dulicates. I know, it's just the half way. You have to delete the library entries on your own
