Auto Import - files previously deleted from library

I must be missing something obvious, but I cannot find a way to instruct auto import to go ahead and import files that were previously deleted from the library. The work around is to manually import the folder - which works, but I would like auto import to do this.

Is there a way to do this?

Click On The Folder In Auto Import, Edit, And Click On Advanced So You Can See This Option.
