BUG: sorting problem
« on: December 13, 2006, 09:09:21 pm »

The sorting in one of my panes w/grouping enabled seems incorrect.   It sorts as:

0-159
Unassigned
160-319

Last I checked, 'U' doesn't sort between '0' and '1' numerically or ASCII-wise.

Could you email a library backup to matt at jriver dot com that shows the problem?

I'll erase the DB as soon as we're able to reproduce and fix the problem.

Thanks!

I think it's just a problem with the word Unassigned. For example in my Genre pane, it ends with:

Top 40
Vocal
Unassigned

Obviously not sorted correctly.

that is how it should be when selected "sort empty string last" in options>tree&view>sorting.
just noticed that in one of my pane views it does not work. unassigned stays at the top.
