Shared database pop up should be optional
« on: January 04, 2007, 04:27:05 pm »

My database is usually locked by one user. However, we use it in living room with theater mode on TV set.
Since DB is locked, every time I start MC (which I can do via remote), it pops up the dialog informing me that database is
read only, and then I have to click OK (which meant getting of the coach and getting the mouse or keyboard). In addition it
prevents theater mode from getting active.
Possible solutions:
1. Make this dialog optional. Normally check box can be provided "Not to show anymore"
2. Pop up dialog only if changes are actually being made to database (or attempted)

What do you, guys, think?

Build 142 and later:
Changed: Read-only database open message has a "don't show again" tick box.
