On a few albums, I can not seem to get the tracks to sort in order.

Example:

The Beatles: XXX
Track 6
Track 1
Track 2
Track 3
Track 5
Track 4
------------------
I am trying to sort by track # and for a few albums the order will be out of whack.  Everything is labeled correctly, there is no extra spaces in the song titles or anything, so there is no reason for this to be happening.   I have tried deleting the tracks that are out of order and the entire album and reimporting them, but the screwed up order remains.  This is driving me nuts, I have no idea what could be wrong.  Anyone that has experienced this same problem and knows how to fix this please respond back. THANKS

Try the following to see if it is sorting the way you expect it to.

Go to Customize Current View.  Check the sorting section.  Maybe there is some sort criteria that is messing this up for you.

I had this too a while back.

Select the tracks from that album, under File select Export playlist.

Choose MPL.

Open it in Notepad and see if there is a different value for the Disc#, or post the contents here.

If you see a different value, you can open the Tags in MC, choose show all fields and edit the disc number to be the same for all tracks.

I think I had the same prob a couple of weeks ago. Right click on the tracks/name header>sort>check Default. If that doesn't work try clicking on the header of the track column.

Thanks to all that responded, but especially you  InflatableMouse.  You were right, I had different disc#'s for a few albums.  Thank you SO MUCH, that was driving me absolutely crazy.  Now that I have that fixed, this is truely the best media center software I have used.
