Drag and drop versus send to
« on: August 22, 2002, 05:44:50 am »

When I create a data disk with mp3's, we are talking about a lot of files. When I drag and drop and then return to the library, it always starts at the top of the list again. This gets tiresome when you have several thousand files to dig through. If I try to select numerous files and then right click and choose "send to", I get the file tucked inside a folder on the CD. This becomes unplayable unless you open the individual folder and just play the one song. Not what I want. Is there a way to have MJ8 not create these folders and just have the mp3 as it does when dragging and dropping?

Yep...with a data CD burn list created, click on the Options button and change your Rearrange setting (to whatever you prefer...probably None)...this setting will stick until the next time you change it.
