TV Tuner problems

Two errors that crop up:
1. "error - failed to initiate media jukebox purchase"
2. Playbackeng
  "failed to access TV tuner" yet it shows the last channel set up by WinTV2000.
Using Media jukebox 8.0.347 under windows XP and WinTV-GO FM PCI TV tuner from Hauppauge. Works fine with WinTV2000.
Any help would be appreciated or is 8.0.347 just buggy. Thank you.

Try a search here for TV.  You may need new drivers from Hauppauge.

I downloaded the latest windows XP drivers and wintv2k, then installed them. WinTV2K works perfectly; however, I now get the error "failed to play TV (unknown error)" when I go to scan for the TV channels.
Any thoughts. Would a re-install of media jukebox help.
First error is still there.

The first error you reported, "Failed to access TV tuner" usually occurs when you have a VfW driver. When you download driver from Hauppauge make sure it is WDM driver. The file name of that driver is WDM331_20112.exe.

Reinstalling MJ might help.

I re-installed Media Jukebox and that solved the tv tuner problem. I still have the "failed to initiate medi jukebox purchase" problem. I guess that I can't pay the fee and purchase it.
