New to MJ
« on: January 14, 2008, 05:22:36 pm »

I had been using MMJ for several years to burn CD's, but Yahoo first ruined it then abandoned it completely. It no longer works except for tagging and printing covers. Over the last month, I have tried about ten burning programs, and decided that MJ [and maybe later MC] has the most of the features I need. However, I am having trouble separating things in "play", which I seldom use and "burn", which I use all the time. For instance, I tried to level the volume on a group of songs to be burned, and although the analyzer seemed to do its thing, on the burned disc two songs were at a very low volume. I must be doing something wrong. Is it possible to take control of the normalization for individual selections in the list? Also, I'm not sure that the tagging is working, but it's hard to tell because most of the my 8000 songs were already tagged in MMJ.

Thanks,
O'Dell

I Think:

Since Analyze Only Works When Playing Directly From MC12 I Think You Need To Use The DSP Settings Under Burn CD.

This Should Deactivate The Direct Burn To CD And Allow For The DSP Settings.
