Help! Recording with equal volume?

Would appreciate anyone ginving me ideas on recording compilation cd's with all songs at the same volume. Just can't seem to get it right.  Thanks.

Didn't "normalize" do the trick?

Even with normalizing there is a considerable difference.  I've also tried analyze gain and still some songs aren't up to par with the others.  I've seen others discuss disk writer but am not sure what that is or how it works.

kthlnstz - you should search for 'Replay Gain' and 'Disk Writer' in Interact - this will help you. It's been covered quite often - normalizing itself will not do what you're looking to do.

Can someone just please explain what i do once I,m in playbackback options to gain equal volume for songs. New to this.
