Wolfie,

What do you mean by "copy" ?

Is it rip your CD in some format (APE, MP3, OGG) to your HDD ?

Yves.

Wolfie,

To avoid it to play on insert, on your desktop, click on "My workstation, right-click on your CD-drive > Properties > Automatic and select Audio Files --> Action = "Do nothing" (sorry if those are not the right words, I run the French version of XP).

To rip :

1. Insert your CD
2. In the left pane, expand the CD, DVD & Handhelds tree and select your CD-drive (its content should appear in yhe right pane)
3. Click on the "Rip CD' in the MJ toolbar --> the CD Copy windows  pops up
4. Click Options and adjust your settings : Format (mine = MP3 VBR Quality High) - Destination Folder -
5. Click "Copy" and you're on the way !

Take care and Enjoy.

Yves.
