BSOD and lockups when ripping
« on: August 04, 2002, 08:42:21 pm »

Quite regularily my machine locks up with a "Media Jukebox has performed an illegal operation" type of error, and then proceeds to lock up my machine. Today I even got the "Blue Screen of Death".

This seems to happen randomly, while ripping. I can get through even a couple of disks and then it just happens, or it might happen on the first disk.

Any ideas?

Download latest Adaptec ASPI & reinstall it. Make sure all programs are closed when you do so (especially MJ).
