Hello,

I'm not good in networking, but is there a (simple) way to use my library at home and listen to it's music on my laptop/computer at another location? At home I'm using the library server function through the house and that's the idea I had but then on my laptop at another location.

OK, that would be great, but my problem is how to set up a network for that other computer.
I know I have to make the other computer part of the same network.

But I guess I would have to allow the other computer to acces the server.
And then there are firewalls etc.

Or is it more easy then I imagine?

You have an external ip adress(www.whatismyip.com) to which you connect from work. Then you have to open a port in your router(at home) which points to your server pc within your network. The last part depends on what type of router you have.
