thibaud: Remembering Tabs
« on: April 22, 2008, 05:00:24 am »

I can't reproduce this.
Remember that a view like a handheld view will not be available on first startup, so would revert to "Start".

I use this (and always order it this way before closing):
view 1: Audio> Pane view
view 2: Audio> Album view
view 3: Playing Now

reproducible behavior is
when closing MC with view1 or view3 selected and restarting MC I get this:
view1: Audio> Album view
view2: start
view3: Playing now

when closing MC with view2 selected and restarting MC I get this:
view1: start
view2: Audio> Pane view
view3: Playing now

Playing Now is staying fine, but Album view and pane view are always swapping place and one (unselected) is reverting to start view.

I think the issue here is that the setting for "Panes", "Albums", etc. inside a given library view is not stored in a tab-specific manner.

This means the two tabs of the same view are fighting with each other.

This a known limitation.  We may move to make more settings tab specific if tab usage increases.
