I had MC convert all files for a handheld, but many of those files are missing the last 4 seconds; not sure why.  This was done MANY versions ago, so I'm hoping this bug has been fixed.  (does anyone know if that is true?)

so, I want to re-convert the files, but there just doesn't seem to be an easy way to do that.  If I tell it to convert, it sees it's already been done (I assume) and nothing happens.

What am I missing?  How can I remove all stacked/converted audio files and re-convert them?  (not one at a time I hope)

thanks

Staff will correct me if my explanation is incomplete, but here's how I understand it to work....

Set up a smartlist with this in the search -[Stack Tag]=[]  or [Stack Tag]=HHCache.
Select all and delete, making sure to choose one of the two delete options and not the remove from library option.

This could also be done by editing a viewscheme to show the stack icon or stack type fields.  Select all files, then expand stacks.  Select and delete the tracks that are not the top file in the stack.

[Stack Tag]=HHCache is probably the way to go.  This needs a button in the HH options.

I actually used the -[Stack Tag]=[] option, and that worked fine.  thanks!

I agree that there outta be a button or option of some sort to "clear handheld cache".  Something similar to "build missing thumbnails" would work fine I think.
