It's not really a "Google Phone", so much as a "Google Phone OS". Many phones will eventually use the platform. The first of which is the G1, which is available for pre-order through T-Mobile.

The things I've seen/read about it all sound very promising. Lots of customization, and open source everything. And of course, integration with all things Google, which is very handy. :)
