More Clicks and Pops (CAP)
« on: July 25, 2002, 03:14:32 pm »

I have also suffered from CAP but only in the last few months of MJ builds.

BBBut this also coincides with loading IE6 onto my PC. Normally i have MJ playing music all day in the background,

If i use the wheelie mouse to scroll up and down a page my processor goes to 100% and i get CAP when listening to music.
If i scroll up and down in any other App (WORD, EXCEL, OUTLOOK) etc all is fine processor <5%

I just ran a quick test loading the same web page with IE6 and Netscape 6.2.

When i scroll in IE6 it hits 100% CAP
When i scroll in Netscape 6.2 <10% no problem.

Seeing as IE6 is standard in XP has anyone else noticed this

Anyone want to try and report if they also can see this.

MS uses IE to update their OS's.

They have probably realized that MJ threatens the Empire, so they sneak clicks into our music now.

Wel why dont you release a dedicated MJ box self contained that does it all and then we can just use our MS boxes for the mundane stuff.

If you want some ideas to get you started i only have a few thousand.

PS i could do the manufacture.

If you're going to keep talking in that esoteric technical language, nobody is going to be able to understand what you are saying.

He means that he has a wheelie small unit.

Sounds like a personal problem.
