Could a feature be added to automatically, transparently, update MC only if the user opts-in?  With 8 HTPCs around the house, it is a disaster to update them all.  Some of them are hardly ever used so they sit and then the time we wnat to use them, they won't operate because the server library is newer.  How about if MC is idle for 15 minutes without something paused or playing, and it is 3 AM, update and return to the previous state (theater view)?

Firefox has essentially a one click update.  It is annoying when something pops up, though, because it can destroy theater view until the administrator remotely connects to control it with a keyboard and mouse.
